REMOTE TUNING INFO
Thank you for choosing Barth Tuning for your Remote Tuning! It is very important to us that your remote session is a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Please take a moment to review the below steps and instructions PRIOR to your scheduled session to insure your remote tuning session goes smoothly.
**MISSED TUNING APPOINTMENTS WILL RESCHEDULED TO THE NEXT AVAILABLE DATE OR REFUNDED IN ACCORDANCE TO OUR RETURN/REFUND POLICY HERE.**
REMOTE TUNING CHECKLIST (MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO TUNING OR APPOINTMENT WILL BE RESCHEDULED)
☐ Complete Remote Tuning Form
☐ Install Diablo unlocked PCM
☐ Update Diablo Intune 3/Trinity 2 via UPDATE AGENT 1.0
☐ Download Diablo DATA VIEWER for data logging - DO NOT UPDATE WHEN PROMPTED TO UPDATE TO LATEST VERSION - IT IS CURRENTLY HAVING ISSUES
☐ Download Barth Tuning Data Viewer DASHBOARD for data logging
☐ Retrieve vehicles stock backup PCM/TCM files from vehicle. (You may need to load a Diablo canned tune to force the unit to pull the backup PCM and TCM files from your PCM.)
☐ Connect your laptop to your Diablo, and once powered up, connect Diablo to your car and confirm you are able to get Data Viewer to connect to your device.
☐ Retrieve backup PCM/TCM files from Diablo by plugging Diablo into PC (located in E:/ or D:/ Drive, Tunes, VIN folder, PCM/TCM_backup)
☐ Email back up files to Tim@barthtuning.com ONE WEEK BEFORE your scheduled tune session and be sure to include THE NAME ON THE APPOINTMENT, VEHICLE YEAR MAKE AND MODEL, LIST OF VEHICLE MODIFICATIONS, AND FUEL WE ARE TUNING FOR.
☐ Preform a test log using the HELLCAT DASHBOARD and email to Tim@barthtuning.com and Sales@barthtuningstore.com ONE WEEK BEFORE your scheduled tune session
☐ Email idle log to Tim@barthtuning.com on the day of your remote tune session by the time of your session start and let him know you are ready to start
DATA VIEWER INSTRUCTIONS
☐ Download Diablo DATA VIEWER for data logging
☐ Download Barth Tuning Data Viewer DASHBOARD for data logging
☐ Place dashboard here…. DOCUMENTS… DATAVIEWER… DASHBOARDS
☐ Connect your laptop to your Diablo, and once powered up, connect Diablo to your car and confirm you are able to get Data Viewer to connect to your device.
☐ Once connected, vehicle should retrieve data from the vehicle. This will take a few minutes. If it does not Hit the BLUE CAR ICON on the top left of the menu bar to re-query information.
☐ Once data has been retrieved, hit the LIGHTENING BOLT on the top left on the menu bar.
☐ Go to dropdown on right side of menu bar, labeled NEW DASHBOARD. Click arrow and scroll down to HELLCAT
☐ You should now see about 30+ gauges on your screen all reading zero. Data will show once you hit record.
☐ Hit Record, then hit stop and save test file. Send test file to sales@barthtuningstore.com so we can review and advise if this was done correctly.
☐ Email idle log to Tim@barthtuning.com on the day of your remote tune session by the time of your session start and let us know that you are ready to start
